Shani is thrilled when her friend Jackie picks her as a companion on a fully-paid trip to South Africa. It is a rare chance for Shani because her poor family cannot afford to take her on such an exotic trip. Shani’s mother doesn’t like the idea. She wonders why Jackie’s stepfather is being so generous. She tries to dissuade Shani from taking the offer by placing obstacles in Shani finds ways to overcome each obstacle until eventually, her mother agrees to let her go on the trip. But is the offer too good to be true? And what will Shani do when she finds herself far from her mother and in grave danger?
